Emergency alerts and check-in
Group texts fail during an emergency because no one knows who has seen them. ProtectED sends the alert by push notification, email, and text at the same time, then collects a status from every staff member so you know where everyone stands.
How it works
- Alert types match your protocols: lockdown, secure, evacuate, shelter, hold, medical, all clear.
- Each staff member taps a status: safe, need help, not on campus. The roster updates live.
- Administrators see who has not responded and can follow up by name.
- Every alert and every response is kept in Alert History for the after-action review.
